I think of my artwork simply as installations meant to focus the viewers’ thoughts on topics such as life’s choices, decision making, peace and serenity, euphoria, and the joys associated with the season of Christmas. I use a variety of materials and processes in each project to bring to life each of these different topics/issues mentioned. My pieces may not be all linked together to highlight one specific topic, however, I intended my work to focus on different messages to keep things more interesting. The subject matter of each piece determined the materials that were used in its production. Research and multiple experiments led to my final decisions on the types of pieces that I wanted to produce in order to bring across a certain message to the viewers.
